Support Student Success at Pasadena City College - Give Now!

We are excited to announce that you are now able to donate online!  You may click on any fund heading in the list below to learn more about that program. Thank you for your support of the students and programs at Pasadena City College and for your contribution to the PCC Foundation. Every gift counts and small gifts add up to large sums!

Annual Fund/President's Circle

Your contribution to the annual fund allows the PCC Foundation to support student success and completion through scholarships, faculty and division support through the Academic Excellence Grants program and direct support to such programs as the Study Abroad program.

Joining the PCC Foundation's President's Circle, at whatever level you choose, makes success possible.  As a member of the President's Circle, you will receive special communication from the president of the college; invitations to stakeholder events; a set at the table to take part in strategic planning and consultation; and a chance to represent the PCC Foundation at community events, including the Pasadena Tournament of Roses and Rose Bowl Game events.

Center for the Arts Campaign

The Center for the Arts had its Grand Opening in January of 2014. The new building is a state-of-the-art 69,000 square foot facility that houses the Visual Arts & Media Studies and the Performing & Communication Arts Divisions. The building is comprised of a 230 seat Recital hall; a 2,000 square foot Art Gallery and a 99-seat Black Box Theater; as well as art studios, practice rooms, laboratories, classrooms and offices.  Chair Naming Opportunities in the Robert and Adrienne Westerbeck Recital Hall are still available.

Parent Education

The Parent Education department has been serving the needs of Altadena, Arcadia, Pasadena, South Pasadena and Temple City for the past 79 years by creating a stimulating environment for parents and children's optimal growth and development in order to support the valuable role families play in establishing the foundation of their children's lives. These classes have traditionally met for 3 semesters; however, due to budgetary constraints the summer semester has been cut in order to reduce expenses. This fund ensures these essential classes that are in high demand will continue to be offered without a four month interruption. Help save the summer semester and invest in families by donating to Parent Education.

President's Latino Advisory Committee (PLAC)

PLAC is composed of community members and PCC employees whose mission is to enhance the educational success of Latino Students at PCC. Since 2005, over $65,000 in scholarships has been awarded. Our honorees have faced tremendous barriers including poverty, personal tragedies and being the first in their family to go to college. Despite these challenges, they volunteer in the community, excel academically and are student leaders. Last year, Maria Camacho was one of our scholarship recipients. Maria's mother took what little savings she had so her daughter could enroll at PCC; it was enough for 3 units. Maria said "I do have faith on the risks I'm taking towards my career... If I take it I will learn something from it and if I let it go I would never know what could have happened." Please consider helping more students, like Maria, through a sponsorship.

PCC Study Abroad Program

This fund supports students and their academic travels to Florence, Oxford, Madrid, Beijing and Germany.  PCC's Study Abroad Program is committed to making international programs available to students.  They provide unique educational experiences by offering classes whereby students are immersed in a new culture that is impossible to obtain in the classroom.
